Spinal Decompression In Success
Spinal injuries like herniated discs, sciatica, and other back and neck conditions can be extremely painful. If the pain becomes debilitating, surgery may seem like the only way out. Thankfully, it’s not!
Spinal decompression is a gentle way to address debilitating pain caused by cervical and/or lumbar spine injuries. Used in conjunction with chiropractic care, it provides better results for our patients.
Conditions That May Benefit
We have seen improvement with conditions like:
- Arthritis
- Low back pain
- Leg pain
- Disc injuries—ruptured, bulging, or herniated
- General lower back stiffness
- Spondylolisthesis
- Sprain or strain
- Scoliosis
- Sacroiliac syndrome
- Spinal stenosis
- Failed back surgeries
- Ankylosing spondylitis
A nonsurgical technique, applying flexion distraction technique may reduce pressure on your spinal nerves and discs. It also helps improve your range of motion and mobility.
What to Expect
Flexion-distraction therapy is done on a segmented table, which moves as the chiropractor starts to manipulate the spine. The table uses a form of oscillating traction to provide a slow, gradual in and out movement that feels like a gentle stretch. The mobilisations using the combination movements of the table will stretch and decompress the spine.
